We are Thankful!

This decoration is about 21 years old. Devin made it in Cub Scouts when we lived in Kansas City, Missouri. We hope the indian can keep standing up!

Avery being festive.

We were excited once again to eat outside on the patio. Some years it's a little nippy.

My BirTthd@y SuRPriSe

I went to a concert for my birthday Randy surprised me and got me a ticket to go see Sherwood.
Randy will hand me a CD and then tells me to play it in the car.
He'll say" I think you'll like this!"
He's always right. I started listening to them a couple of years ago.
Loved all their songs. Could sing all the words. Yep.........I have to admit that I'm one of those that sings in the car, even at stop lights- especially 70's songs.
My girls get embarrassed and ask me to stop!
But...I can't help myself!

Sherwood was actually opening for......are you ready for this?
Hanson! What? Those boys are still around?
Almost everyone came for Hanson so after Sherwood played we went out to the lobby during intermission. We were glad all the fans for Hanson stayed inside cuz we were able to hang out and talk with Sherwood. Randy told them it was my surprise birthday present to come.
They were like- You like us??
guitar- Dan
Mikey-keyboards
Randy tells Mikey, "this is my Mom.
She knows all your songs and sang all the words tonight!
I think it blew him away!
he's probably thinking- WOW, she's older than my mom!

Nate- lead singer and guitar

david-guitar
very nice and personable

Before we left for Tucson, I asked Randy if I would be the oldest one there?
He just said-"come on Mom. It'll be fun!"
So...I thought, I'll never see these people again. So I just had a blast with my 3 peeps!
So, how was Hanson?
Don't know, don't care!
We went home!

The blessing of Davis Chad Day

Another special blessing for the Day Family. We were happy for all who were able to come and enjoy this day with us!
Avery cryed when he wasn't invited to go up with Daddy and Davis

Devin, Kristin and Preston

our 2 youngest grandsons

Dad said, "hey...I'm the shortest!" (did he JUST figure this out today?) Devin reminded him that he's been the shortest for a long time! Love ya honey!
