Thoroughly Modern Millie Musical

This is how Toree and her friends warm up before each performance. Lots of singing and dancing in the dressing room!
Lots of the same friends from last year and also some new ones.

You're such a modern 1920's girl!

Good times!

Here is some of the family that came out one night to watch the performance!
Way to go- Toree!

Happy Birthday Dennis!
I love you!
jillyn's Wedding
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JILLYN!
Jillyn is turning 25
I thought it would be fun to see some pics from the past. ENJOY! Proud daddy
We started seeing Jillyn's personality right from the beginning.
She really couldn't help it. It was that red hair!!Once our home teachers came over to visit when all the other kids were in bed. Jillyn went in the kitchen where I was painting some crafts. She not only painted herself, but she painted the kitchen table, finished my wooden craft by squeezing the whole bottle of paint onto it. Then she painted a small TV that was on the table and the TV screen. But we laughed the hardest when we noticed she even painted up the long antenna!

Jillyn was sassy!!
Who doesn't love this picture! When talking with the bishop before her baptism, the bishop asked Jillyn her full name. "Do you have a middle name?" "Yes." He asked, " What is it?" "Pooh!"
I guess we should explain to our children their nicknames: Jillyn-y-pooh

Cute little piano player

1st day of 1st grade

cool matchie Christmas dresses
(well, they were back then!)

Jillyn has always loved animals

Playing Wham basketball. She was really good!
Visiting the rest home. Was this the time the man in the wheelchair started rolling down the driveway and the worker was running after him trying to stop the wheelchair? It was like something in a movie! sad.....but he did stop the wheelchair and everything was OK. Now we have a good laugh about it!

Jillyn with her little sisters at a YW activity.

family reunion in Idaho FallsJillyn thought she was Nadia. She watched the Olympics every night and would use the back of the couch as a balance beam. She insisted I put Nadia on the back of her leopards with iron-on letters.
As you can see by these pictures, Jillyn was alot of fun with all her craziness! She still makes us laugh and we miss having her around. Thank goodness for blogs. We never know what she'll do next! We love you Jillyn!

The Newest Coupon Queen

If you know me well, you know how I love to make a good deal! I cannot stand to pay full price for anything. I head for clearance racks, outlets stores, and etc. I've made some incredible purchases over the years. I wish I had written them down so I could read them and get excited all over again! Yes....I'm an addict. I love coming home and asking Dennis what he thinks I paid for my treasures, then knockin his socks off with my steamin deal! My daughter-in-law, Corri, got me doing coupons at the grocery store. Oh My!! I had a great time yesterday! As I left the parking lot and came to the first stop light, I wanted to roll down my window and tell the passenger in the car next to me about how much money I just saved! Wow, that's embarrassing to admit! So I did the next ridiculous thing. I came home and took pictures of my groceries! I'm scaring myself! I paid $13.88 and saved $97.75!
Well, I still had some more coupons in my purse so...........after a quick bite to eat, I got back in my car and went through the grocery line 2 more times! (Toree asked me if I got a different cashier each time, I think she was embarrassed for me!) Oh ya, I felt the same! By the end of my shopping, I had spent $68.62 and saved $159.88! Yippee
